The Lanciano International Guitar Seminar is hosted by Estate Musicale Frentana (EMF). The Workshop will be held at the EMF’s main location, Parco delle Arti Musicali “Torri Montanare” located in Largo dell’Appello n. 2, Lanciano (CH). Parco delle Arti Musicali is adjacent to Torri Montanare, defensive towers built as fortresses and lookout spots in the Medieval age.
Lanciano is 2 hrs from Rome by car or bus. There is also a connection by train from Tiburtina Station but it takes longer. Don’t try to use the train to get to Lanciano, unless you want to spend 5 hours and change 2 or 3 trains!
You can get to Lanciano from:
– Rome Tiburtina bus station with DI FONZO bus company: http://www.difonzobus.com/english/index.php You can get the ticket on-line, at the Rome Tiburtina bus station ticket place or directly on the bus in cash (but ask to the driver for seats availability).
You can easily reach Tiburtina bus station from Termini station, or directly from Fiumicino Airport. From Termini station get the subway line B (the blue one) and get off at Tiburtina stop, then follow the directions for the bus station, a few minutes away by walking. From Fiumicino Airport get the train to Tiburtina station and walk to the bus station.
Once arrived in Lanciano get off at the last stop. Then ask how to reach your final destination.
Highway A25 or A24 and A14 exit San Vito-Lanciano.
From the North:
Highway A14 (Bologna-Bari) leads you directly to Lanciano from exit San Vito-Lanciano.
